He was tired. He was over it. He’d had enough. No more ‘one more’. This was the end of the line and come hell or high water, he wasn’t going to let it happen again.
It was damn difficult but in the end all he could do was grit his teeth and tell himself that it was the only way. He ignored the tears, he ignored the pleas; he ignored it all. The greater good was all that mattered.
Besides, tying his captain to the mast and gagging him after one too many rounds of “I’m still hungry. Just one more?” really didn’t seem like that big of a deal.

Date: 2009-04-23 10:15 am (UTC)I damn hell thought (sorry the language) that this would turn out to be a death-fic... then a weird idea popped up in my mind that it might be because of his smokes: Just one more smoke, one more... and then a day no more since it had cost him too much or something like that... and then it was LUFFY and his hunger for more FOOD! XDD
