He was tired. He was over it. He’d had enough. No more ‘one more’. This was the end of the line and come hell or high water, he wasn’t going to let it happen again.

 

It was damn difficult but in the end all he could do was grit his teeth and tell himself that it was the only way. He ignored the tears, he ignored the pleas; he ignored it all. The greater good was all that mattered.

 

Besides, tying his captain to the mast and gagging him after one too many rounds of “I’m still hungry. Just one more?” really didn’t seem like that big of a deal.

You know Moe... I really love your way to keep the suspense up until the end stories. And how the hell do you always manage it with so few words? I sincerely envy your talent! (psst, is my face green already? ;) )

I really expected something bad; already envisioned them all at Raftel and Sanji being ready to sacrificing himself for one of the girls...

Honestly, I wouldn't mind writing longer drabbles. I look at my results and usually think 'too short again' but by then the point is across and I'm too lazy to add more.

I had angst all ready to go...then I failed and the angst left.

Oh? And I would give a lot to be able to write as concise as you do. I always end up with a novel. Even when I just write about the weather. lol It's a curse, I am telling you! Save meeeeeeeeee, please! You got to call Dean and Sam from Supernatural to save me! lol
