The salve was cool on his skin, calloused fingers spreading it gently over his wounds.
Chopper stood at his side watching the process and Sanji could almost see the reindeer’s mind thinking up a storm in his little head. “It shouldn’t take long for the chaffing to heal. Just don’t wrap anything too tight around your wrists. You probably shouldn’t do up the cuffs on your shirt sleeves either.”
White gauze was wrapped carefully around his wrists, with enough pressure that it wouldn’t cut off vital circulation.
Chopper nodded at them and, satisfied that Sanji was being taken care of properly, wandered away mumbling to himself about creating a kidnapper repellent.
Sanji exhaled a stream of cigarette smoke and stared at the ceiling. The sound of a jar cap being replaced brought his gaze back to the man sitting across from him before dropping to look at the bandages around his wrists.
“You really shouldn’t tie the rope that tight, next time.” He looked back up and smirked at the red flush that bloomed across Zoro’s cheeks.
