Title: Don’t insult the tableware

Rating: PG

Pairing: Sanji/Galley…maybe Sanji/Zoro if you look

Topic: Settings

Words: 139

A/N: This didn’t really come out how I was expecting it to but have it anyway.

It was nothing. It was so insignificantly small that it shouldn’t have mattered. Anyone else wouldn’t have batted an eyelid. Anyone else and their world wouldn’t have been turned upside down. Anyone else and that cold thread of panic that gripped their heart and closed their throat to indrawn breath, wouldn’t have existed.

Insignificant.

But this was Sanji and nothing in his life was insignificant, certainly nothing in his kitchen and by extension, his galley.

So when he drop-kicked the marimo into an empty chair at the end of the table and attempted to stab him with a stylized chopstick that looked remarkably like Wadou, he felt no compulsion to rationalize his actions. Even when the idiot swore until he was sure the paint was peeling from the walls.

“There are place settings for a reason, you dumb shit.”

*big grins* Sorry, sweetie. I'm surprised it didn't confuse more people.

Zoro sat in the wrong chair and Sanji is kinda...weirdly possessive about his galley.

Aaaah. I thought it was that he had carved a chopstick into Wadou's shape and Sanji got angry because of that... but I did think it could also be something related to the sitting arrangement.

Honestly, you could probably take it either way. I only realised after I posted it that my fic had multi-interpretational properties. Didn't I feel especially confused~
