Zoro stared as Nami turned and stalked off, then turned his attention to the idiot beside him. How the hell were they going to get out of this?

 

Apparently, the cook had a solution. “Once we’re back out at sea, this won’t matter. We can forget it all happened. Right?”

 

Zoro grunted in reluctant agreement. He still thought this was stupid and he was sticking to it. Seriously, who the hell proposed marriage by insulting someone?

Well, on the Grand Line you can never be sure of what weird laws each island will have. And as pirates, there really isn't a rule they have to follow the law no matter how much we fangirls wish to see them married.

Perhaps that particular tradition was put in place to avoid people fighting? "Only fight if you plan on marrying!" would probably stop a few fights cold.
