Title: Whoops

Rating: PG for like one swear word

A/N: For Sybile…again – Another Marimo (with a change in expression)

“Oi, Usopp, you shitty bastard! You been using chemicals in the bathroom again?”

Usopp didn’t look up from his tinkering. “Of course I haven’t. Not since the last time you threw them at me.”

“Really? So what the hell is Chlor…Chlorine?”

Sanji didn’t sound overly happy but Usopp was more worried about the dynamics of his latest invention. The answer came easy, as if he expected Sanji to know it already. “It’s a special chemical blend to help with the purification of our water supply.”

“And just how long have you been using this ‘special blend’ of yours?”

Usopp rolled his eyes and kept on. Just because one of the crew couldn’t work around the new taste of the water, didn’t mean he was going to change anything. “About a week. It seems to be working really well. Why what’s wrong?”

Usopp turned to face Sanji and his jaw dropped open, weird choking sounds rising from his throat. The demonic look Sanji was sporting made him want to run, except he seemed to be grounded to his spot on the deck.

“What’s wrong?” The exhaled cigarette smoke rose above Sanji’s head and appeared to form as horns.

Usopp tried for anything, anything at all but produced only squeaking. His eyes widened to dinner plate size as Zoro came down from the upper deck. Not good, not good at all.

Zoro halted and stared, rubbed his eyes and stared again. There was a strange tic in his jaw and his eyes crinkled at the edge. Sanji looked across as Zoro fell to the deck in hysterics, laughing hard enough to bust something.

Usopp tried – so hard – to stop his smile. He really did but it was pretty damn hilarious. Zoro’s attempts at speaking weren’t helping any and the nickname was mangled behind snorts and tears.

“Ma…ma…mari…marimo!”

Sanji didn’t think his green hair was funny at all.
