It just stretched onward and outward. He couldn’t see the end of it and even the horizon of sea and sky blended together.

A fine sheen of salt spray covered his chest and damn, if he didn’t feel the sun starting to burn him. He should know better than to go around half naked.

Four seas to create a fifth and he was standing at its shore. His dream, his life and when he strained his ears, he couldn’t hear a damn thing. Nothing. Even the birds gliding on the wind were muted. But this was what he wanted so why did he feel so damn…empty.

His brow twitched as his ears picked up faint sound. It was talking and the lot of them weren’t being overly quiet about it.

“Oi, Zoro, can we get Sanji to cook now? I’m hungry.”

“Luffy, leave him alone. He’s only just found it.”

“But Namiii…ow that hurt.”

“The Great Captain Usopp will make you a feast.”

“Waaa. Really Usopp?”

“Super!”

Really, if they had been any louder the marines on the next island could have heard them and they all would have been arrested.
