A/N: Doumeki inspires thought processes.

It’s not like I hide it from you. I’ve never felt the need to show anything less than what I feel, even if it is easier sometimes to just close off and not let anyone in. You have a habit of catching me off guard, making me feel unbalanced and in those moments I guess I let the mask slip just enough that, if anyone was watching, they’d see it.

 

So why haven’t you?

 

I know you’re not oblivious to those around you. With your problem you can’t afford to be, so you notice all the inconsistencies and abnormalities that come to the surface and struggle for dominance. I’ve never tried to purposely hide from you, in fact I sometimes I try to show just what I’m thinking and hope for some sort of positive reaction.

 

Guess not, huh?

 

I know Kunogi sees it and I’m pretty sure she’s wondering when I’ll actually do something about it. At this stage? Probably never. There isn’t much that I’m afraid of, in fact if I was ever asked, there is really only one thing that comes to mind. Alright, so it’s more than one but the reason for my fears revolves around a singular image.

 

How can one life have so much power over another?

 

I watch as you go spinning off into another of your fits for Kunogi and I’m wondering if I’ll ever warrant something so elaborate from you. Of course, if you did, I’d have to plug my ears and grin stupidly.

 

For now I’ll accept the food you offer, the knowledge you willingly part with and the understanding that I will be there to save you. Until such time as you make the final decision that you will accept me, all of me, I’ll make sure you don’t fall from a dizzying height and if you do, I’ll be there to catch you.

 

Don’t take too long, ok? Even if I will wait forever.

Why is it that no matter what you write, it totally wins? You have such a way with writing characters so spot on. Doumeki's voice feels right in this. XD

Really nice insight on Doumeki's thought processes (which are mostly a mistery for me. I'm more in synch with Watanuki. :P)

It was kind of cute to see Doumeki hoping to get some wiggling and spinning from Watanuki some day, but willing to settle with his spazzing (not in those words, but that was the gist, right?)

You summarised that down to a tee. Doumeki would LOVE some wiggling and spinning but alas...Watanuki is (I don't think a completely) oblivious spaz. And I see absolutely nothing wrong with being in sync with Watanuki (but we do worry for your mind a little 8D).
