A/N: A short time, many emotions. I was aiming for something a little less… angtsy. 

It was good. It was fine. There was nothing to worry about. Really, there wasn’t. The idiot could lose more blood than that and still get up and swing the damn butter knives around. Just because this time he wasn’t moving and there was more blood trailing down the deck and dammit he wasn’t panicking.

 

Come on you stupid bastard. Move already. I don’t want to have to clean up after your shitty battles, when all you can do is leave bits and pieces of marines scattered around the deck. Chopper, what’s taking so damn long? Just patch him up and he’ll be fine. And you can stop looking at me like that. He’ll be fine. He’s always fine.

 

Shitty Captain, stop crying. There’s nothing to cry about. He’s fine. Come on asshole, I’ve got things to do and you’ve got more booze to steal and there’s more kicking I need to dish out and I still need… I still… I…
