A/N: I did something other the ZoSan. The world must be ending.

I miss him. The sound of his voice, the thump of his shoes, the swish of his coat as he moved about deck.

He was the first to allow me to be myself. I laughed, I cried, I cheered and I loved. Completely, whole-heartedly and I believed there was nothing that could take that away. I was wrong. So very, very wrong.

It came sudden but not swift enough to avoid pain. A death, completely unwarranted. I lost my heart, my life, my reason for living but I couldn’t change where I was headed. I promised him and I keep my promises.

I still cry but there are no tears. I have nothing left to give. I miss you, my captain. So very much.
