I'm in a LOTR mood too, I've spent all yesterday reading The Fellowship Of The Ring and dreaming of Legolas.

Nice drabble by the way. XD

I love LOTR, so this was great stylistically for that and works really well with the topic :)

I just spent 16 hours watching Wagner's 'Ring' cycle (which kinda-sorta inspired LOTR), and since I've now had my fill of German opera I think I need to watch LOTR again to make myself feel better about it xP

But great job, because I have a horrible time writing short drabbles that actually get a point across (and at writing short comments, apparently!) :D

Staring at the covers and having 'one ring to rule them all' going through your head on repeat is a little disconcerting. I think it tried to eat me.

But we like the long comments. They make me feel special and happy and wanted and *shines at you*~

"One piece to drive them to the end."
*spazzes* wtf?

You and me both, my dearest. She...just...wouldn't...leave!

Actually that would have been nice for a final line... Engrish as it is (I have yet to see a Japanese story in which English has been used correctly... or any other language, at that. The Spanese in Bleach makes me cringe). ^^U

Methinks that since she didn’t have the guts (sorry, resisted the temptation) to take over Middle Earth, she has decided to conquer the One Piece fanfiction world instead (All shall read me and despair!!)

And now it's posted, I can't do a damn thing about it but yes, that would have been quite nice. *pretends she didn't write it 'cause otherwise it will continue to bother her*

*hides the OP fanfiction...at least all the good stuff* She can have the other stuff and rule over that. Away! Away with you, of evilness of doom!

Jorge Luis Borges once said that the reason we (meaning, writers) publish (or post, in this case) is only so we stop correcting our stories...

(Seriously, forget the balrog, her little "Queen of the World" moment was the scariest part of all three movies for me... talk about a bipolar lady...)

That has to be one of the truest and most sanest (which doesn't say much for me) comments I've ever heard.

Reckon Frodo was pissin' his pants... but then again, everyone else probably was too. I'd like to remain the ruler of my own world, thank you so very much.

Well, he was considered one of the best writers my country has ever produced (if not the best... some say that the only reason he never got a Nobel Prize for Literature was because he only wrote short stories, and they refused to consider them as "literature"), so I guess that shouldn't come as a surprise. His words taste of wisdom, even if I don't really follow them, myself... I must confess I abuse the "edit" function of LJ and keep correcting little bits and pieces of my stories for months after posting... ^^UUUU

I wouldn't blame him if he was...

CUTE! A wonderful little fic you have written here. <3

One archaeologist to remind them.

I'm not that fond of Robin, but this line just made her kickass.
