Title: Appreciation

A/N: For sybile from another of her pretties – Swordsman Sanji

 

Sanji drew the blade from its scabbard, the feeling of steel beneath his fingers making his skin tingle. It really was a good looking weapon and the sunlight glinting blindly off the metal had him grinning.

 

He heard a thump of boots on the stairs and he scrabbled quickly to hide the sword. The damn marimo didn’t need to know about this. The voice near his ear stopped him cold.

 

“Oi, idiot. What the hell are you doing?” A hand covered his and pulled gently, loosening his fingers from the hilt.

 

His response time was lessened, as breath washed over his cheek and his eyes glazed over. It was the soft ‘chink’ of his cutlass being drawn that had his eyes turning to the great cabbage, with fire dancing in his eyes.

 

“Give that…” He trailed off as he saw the other man admiring the blade, face intent and fingers almost touching. Green eyes darted to his and he was sure the temperature jumped a few degrees.

 

He had the inexplicable urge to explain why it was in his possession and managed to pull himself up short before he actually did.

 

“Just because I fight with my legs, doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate swords.” Well, he tried to stop himself anyway.

 

The ‘chink’ sounded again as it was returned to its resting place, silent until it would next be drawn. It was handed back without comment and Sanji reached for it, hands brushing as his fingers curled around.

 

He watched silently as Zoro turned and walked away, steps a whisper on the wood. This wasn’t right. Where was the snark, where was the derision? “O-oi...”

 

The other man halted but didn’t turn to face him, words quiet on the wind but still reaching him.

 

“It suits you.”

 

Sanji turned and gazed out to endless blue, lips twitching to a smirk and cigarette smoke following the swordsman to the lower deck.

HOW DO YOU DO IT EVERY TIME? You're going get me to have a swordsman!Sanji fetish. I have this other swordsman!Sanji picture, and yet another picture that has Zoro and Sanji in each other's clothings. Which has nothing to do with anything. Sorry!

I use my mind controlling techniques to make you read what I write and believe that it is in fact, just what you want. I say we share our fetish's. Swordsman!Sanji and Smoking!zoro and then we can even have them change clothes because zoro in a suit is just too damn hot.

You must share this picutre with the rest of us, only because it is in fact THAT HOT! And it will always have something to do with this because it's badassery at its best and you should never apologise for the shared knowledge of...anything.

Well your mind controlling techniques certainly work! We probably do share our fetishes. We seem to think alike...I don't run in to smoking!Zoro that often. In fact...I'm not sure I ever have. But swordsman!Sanji seems to be quite popular.
